Broseley C of E Primary School PTA
We are very fortunate at our school to have a PTA that has been an integral part of the school community for many years. In its time, the PTA has raised many thousands of pounds, which have been spent on equipment and resources to enhance our children’s education experience and the school’s facilities.
Our PTA is about much more than simply fundraising. The PTA exists to provide closer links between home and school, and it is an excellent way to bring staff, parents, and friends together, socially, in support of school, working towards a common goal.
The PTA is extremely conscious of the ethos of our school, and we try very hard when organising and planning events to respect this. Not all our events and activities are run as fundraisers; some events are run with the aim of having fun and as a way of thanking families for their continued support for the PTA.
Our Mission Statement:To advance the education of the pupils in the school by developing more extended relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school, by engaging in activities which support the school and advance the education of the pupils attending it and by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for education at the school (not normally provided by the Local Authority). |

Although the committee is small, the PTA itself is made up of lots of parents and carers who give up what time they can for different events throughout the year. Parents/carers who are interested in either helping out, or joining the committee, can either come along to a PTA meeting (usually held once every term, or more frequently if we have events planned) or get in touch via email: broseleypta@hotmail.com

Examples of some of our fantastic events:
- BINGO! raised over £1000 in October; a sell-out event!
- The Summer Festival is always an event not to be missed, with children, parents and community members hosting stalls, games, music and much more!
- Book Fair - we raised just over £750, resulting in school receiving a profit to spend on books of £375.
- PJ & Popcorn is definitely one of the favourite events for our pupils!
- The Colour Run is a huge hit with parents and children alike!
- Our PTA also help school to put on refreshments during performances and Discos!
